Counseling is a relationship to help develop insight & provide a mirror to our lives.
About me
Deciding to come to counseling is a first step toward improving lives. I can help with anxiety, depression, coping skills, communication, and transitions. Talking to someone who can see things from an outside perspective can help you determine how to improve what is not working in your life, set goals, and learn new skills which will move you toward that goal.
My back ground is varied. I have worked as a nurse in Pediatrics and Family Medicine. My experience with all age groups and issues has helped me to develop an understanding of many stages of life and development. I have worked with children and teens in schools, with individuals and couples, and those who need more skills and tools for living.
I have a passion for children, teens, and all of those in life transitions. I enjoy helping people find their potential and set goals. I believe that counseling is a relationship to help others develop insight and provide a mirror to their lives. I believe we all have the ability within us to solve problems and develop skills and coping for life.
